POM Sheet (Acetal / Delrin)

POM (polyoxymethylene), also known as acetal or by the brand name Delrin, is an engineering thermoplastic prized for its high stiffness, low friction and excellent machinability. POM sheet is extruded or compression-moulded into flat boards for fabrication into precision parts.

With tensile strength ≥60 MPa, low friction and self-lubricating characteristics, POM is the go-to material for gears, bearings, bushings and wear strips. Its low water absorption keeps parts dimensionally stable, and it machines cleanly to tight tolerances.
